NEW ORLEANS AND VIRTUAL ACROSS LOUISIANA.
Therapy for Menstrual + Hormonal Health.
Your body is telling a story, and it’s our job to listen.
Both sex ed and therapy are missing something important: hormones. While there tends to be a spotlight on menstruation, few people are actually taught about the hormonal shifts happening in the rest of their cycle. Have you ever wondered why you feel like a different version of yourself every two(ish) weeks? Why your mood symptoms or ADHD feel more intense during your luteal phase?
Hormones can impact every part of your functioning- from your sex drive, to your appetite, sleep needs, and mental health. And that’s okay! It’s not because your body is broken- it’s because society isn’t structured to support cycling bodies.
Body literacy is the practice of understanding your body's hormonal rhythms, and using that knowledge to make informed decisions about your health. Some folks use this to prevent or achieve pregnancy, but it can also be helpful if you’re noticing cyclical mood changes or if you're wanting to connect more deeply with your body + sexuality (especially after trauma).
I help people with:
PMDD and pme
PCOS / PMOS
hormonal health
BIRTH CONTROL + mood

Cycle-informed therapy can help you:
Understand the connection between your hormones and your mood- and how this shows up uniquely in your body
Track your cycle and symptoms using an evidence-based fertility awareness method (yes, even if your cycle is irregular!)
Become familiar with your body’s needs for sleep, nutrition, sex, self-care, and social connection (or disconnection) based on where you’re at in your cycle
Find mindful ways to cope with hormonally-driven mood shifts- like journaling, diet/lifestyle changes, and CBT & ACT skills
Navigate a broken healthcare system that minimizes women + AFAB bodies’ symptoms
Create a loving + supportive relationship with your body
